The Summer House is a year-round sandwich and ice cream shop open daily from 11 AM.
Every menu item is prepared to order, it only takes a few minutes to prepare each order to the customer's desire.
Soups, salads, wraps, hot & cold sandwiches and fried specialties enhance our grill menu.
Our 'Lite Bite' specials, which include a half sandwich, soup and a drink are a real hit.
Kid's meals which include a child's ice cream cone or dish are very popular.
Our ice cream menu boasts up to 24 flavors, as well as seasonal specials, soft serv & frozen yogurt.
Summer House cones, sundaes, splits, 'Flurry' mix-ins, shakes and frappes are year round favorites

During the fall and winter months our large selection of soups and hardy sandwiches, apple crisp and brownie sundaes
help bring warmth to our sturdy New England customers.
A comfortable air conditioned dining room, seating over 80 guests, was remodeled during 2008.
Our landscaped picnic areas and gazebo offer casual indoor and outdoor dining experiences.

Senior Discounts are available every day on all menu items except our Specials.

  Company History

The Summer House was built in the 1950's as a seasonal Friendly's ice cream stand open each summer from
Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend.
The Grimaldi Family purchased the business in 1980 and have owned it since.
We are now a year round establishment offering sandwiches, soups and ice cream products throughout the year.
The building was expanded several times and recently remodeled in 2008.
Our philosophy is to offer our customers quality products at a reasonable price.
Special dietary needs and desires are accomodated during a meal's preparation.
We are thankful to have made many customers into friends over the years and thank all for their patronage.
